Gastric Adenocarcinoma of Fundic Gland Type Treated by Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection

Gastric adenocarcinoma of fundic gland type is known to originate from the gastric mucosa region without intestinal metaplasia. It difficult detect during endoscopy and diagnose histopathologically. The development immunohistochemistry has enabled diagnosis by phenotype. A 34-year-old man visited us for treatment a 5 cm-sized low-grade dysplasia in fundus which was incidentally found health check-up endoscopy. Endoscopic submucosal dissection performed successfully, final histopathology showed type. Herein, we report rare case its endoscopic histopathologic findings.
